A friend has been talking about how their employees have been applying for payday loans because of their upcoming summer outing. It reminded me of the good old days when I was still working for Microsoft. We usually have those outings and the last trip was to Boracay. I remember how everyone was going crazy over grabbing new summer get-ups such as bikinis, trunks, board shorts, and those costly pairs of Havaianas which I find impractical. They're cute looking I know! But, hello they're just slip ons with the name Havaianas on it. Well, that's how it looks like to me. I have one though, but it's just a gift. I think most of them may have had a good trip, but afterwards they had to work so hard to pay off their credit cards. Ha-ha! I miss my workmates even if they're way crazy. Well, I am crazy too.
Anyway, they're currently planning a trip that would actually cost them less. I doubt it that he's going with them, although I know he want to be a part of the planning team to make sure that everything will work out fun and everyone will surely have fun. He's saying that once they're all away, that's his chance to sleep, go out with us and have fun too. I just hope that those employees would make the most out of their summer outing, and of course their cash advances.
